Ambassador for the government of Betazed, mother of Deanna Troi. Lwaxana Troi was daughter of the Fifth House, Holder of the Sacred Chalice of Rixx, Heir to the Holy Rings of Betazed. Lwaxana, a full Betazoid, married a Starfleet officer, Ian Andrew Troi, and the couple had two children, Kestra and Deanna. Kestra died in 2336 in a swimming accident. Lwaxana suppressed the memory of her death until 2370. Lwaxana Troi was first seen in "Haven" (TNG). |
